PROJECTS / 2025 / TERRAFRANTA BRANDING AND PACKAGING
Since 2024 I have been developing the visual identity and packaging for the organic farm Terrafranta. The identity is closely developed with my dear friend Carlotta Chiocchini, the owner and founder of the farm. During several stays at the farm we continuously refined the identity and even worked on a new typeface "Idyll" released in 2025, based on the vegetation of the farm. The packaging was locally produced in Tuscany and we aimed to develop a design concept that could easily be re-used and uses as little unnecessary packaging and plastic as possible.
For the general identity we have been using Tonka and in some parts Reverie and Lilian.
The products encompass extra-virgine olive oil, lavender water and essential oil, a collection of herbs and lavender beer. All organic and harvested seasonally on the farm. You can may the products online, at the farm, or at the Florence shop - Bottega Agroecologica, in via S.Reparata 7r.
About Terrafranta:
"Terrafranta is a working organic farm nestled in the hills of Florence, founded by Carlotta Chiocchini in 2020. Self-taught, still studying and always learning, Carlotta’s approach is rooted in the belief that nature knows best – following regenerative practices, our aim is to increase soil fertility and contribute to building thriving ecosystems, keeping the landscape wild and our hands dirty. We produce high quality extra-virgin olive oil, lavender, as well as officinal and aromatic herbs of all sorts. The fruits of our land often become essential oils, aromatic waters, infusions mixes and sometimes they end up in our beer, too. Terrafranta is also a playground for events, cultural productions and explorations, hosting volunteers from all over the world as well as creative residencies. We host private events and enjoy collaborating with all sorts of artisans, artists and makers."
