TYPEFACES / 2022 / ADOBE ALFARN
Adobe Alfarn was commissioned by Adobe Fonts to honour the 100th anniversary of the Bauhaus. The typeface is based on a poster by Alfred Arndt, designed in 1923. The typeface is a loose interpretation based on the few letters that are present in the original design. The uppercase has 3 alternates per letter for widths variations. In 2022 the lowercase was added as well as stylistic sets for case punctuation. All punctuation exists in a bold and light version to pay homage to the playfulness of Bauhaus typography.
